Ribbons and Balloons bakery now in Udupi
Udupi: Ribbons and Balloons, the fastest growing bakery chain from Mumbai opened yet another branch in Udupi today. The turnout at the inaugural was great, people from all over the city rushed to the place even before the formal inauguration was carried out. Located on the ground floor of Ideal Towers, Court road, the new bakery is bound to become a raging success.
The bakery was declared officially open with a ceremonious cutting of a beautiful three tiered cake. Owner of the outlet Mr. Harish Shetty and master franchisee owner C.A Sathish Shetty of ‘Ribbons and Balloons’ did the honours along with friends and family. C.A Sathish Shetty was proud to announce that the Udupi outlet is not only the 4th in South Kanara but also the 121st outlet to be established in India. He also made a mention of his plans to put up 35 more outlets between Kasaragod and Kundapur.
“Ribbons and Balloons has been successfully running for 15 years now and we owe this success to the quality that we maintain at our production units. We have set up a state-of-the-art production facility that spans over 15,000 square feet in the industrial area of Baikampady. It is equipped to cater to all the existing and upcoming outlets in South Kanara” said C. A Sathish Shetty speaking bon the occasion. He also said that the Udupi outlet was dear to him because it is established in his hometown.
Food bloggers from in and around the city were invited for a quick tasting session and were treated to a range of cakes, savouries and pastries. One such blogger who runs a popular food blog on Instagram was ecstatic to find out that ‘Ribbons and Balloons’ had made it’s way into her home town. She said she was such a fan of the place that she used to travel to Manipal every weekend just so she could taste the walnut brownie.
