For the first time, Mangalore has its very own donut cafe.
Has your craving for donuts always lead you to discontent? With the vast inflow of eateries in Mangalore, we were still missing this incredible sweet fried bun. But, not anymore! Thryvs Cafe-Donut magic is here to answer all those prayers of maddening donut yearnings.
With an ambience that is unconventional, you just can’t miss this place, situated in MG road, Ballalbagh; owing to its vibrant wall art. In fact, Thryvs Cafe is fast becoming a favourite joint for selfie lovers thanks to their distinct, visual interiors.
With a tempting menu, Thryvs Cafe has a splendid array of donuts to pick from.
Here are a few of our favourites:
1. White chocolate with choco cream:
Filled with luscious chocolate cream and glazed with white chocolate, this has a slight drizzle of chocolate cream on the top.
2. Caramel kreme crunch:
Highly recommended because of the yummy caramel centre, this donut dipped in chocolate cream with crunchy toffee bits strewn on top is a donut lover’s delight.
3. Cinnamon donut:
The classic cinnamon donut is a signature favourite with hints of cinnamon flavours, dusted with sugar. Needless to say, we favoured this one too.
4. Chocolate kreme:
This decadent donut that is undoubtedly in demand among kids, has a smooth, creamy chocolate; topped with chocolate cream along with a white chocolate drizzle. Lots of chocolate, lots of fun.
5. White chocolate strawberry filled donut with ice cream:
The latest one to make it to the must-try list is the white chocolate donut brimming with gooey strawberry cream topped with ice cream.
As you savour the sweet taste of donuts, Thryvs Cafe gives you access to some wonderful music that you can sing to! That’s right, a cafe that allows you to sing and dance while you eat is a game-changer in the entire Mangalorean food scene.
To wash it all down, are a range of beverages of which we loved the nutellicious demon: an exotic smoothie with heaps of Nutella.
