PATTAR \nBorn in 1971\, Hombal\, Gadag \n1992 – BFA in Painting from Vijaya College of Fine Art\, Gadag\, Dharwad University\n1994 – MFA in Painting from MMK College of Visual Art\, Gulbarga\nAwarded HRD National Scholarship\, Govt. of India in 1995-97\n1996 – Joined Mahalasa School of Art as Lecturer in Painting\nPresently\, Head of the Department in Painting and teaches Creative Painting\, History of Art & Art Appreciation in Mahalasa College of Visual Art\, Mangaluru. \nAbstract is a thought of non-existent and abstraction is an idea of invisible\, physically invincible form calved out of an artists innate psychological state. This perpetual imagery may be achieved by an artist committing to connect himself and his art through a constant effort which is a never ending process itself. \nThis series of work is a result of my internal experience codified with the visual fundamentals such as line\, shape\, form\, texture\, color and spatial delineation metamorphosed as mathematical and geometric composition. Hence\, I begin my work from a base of zero – on an empty canvas and with an empty mind. Then\, travel through an empty space from known to the unknown gathering visual elements and finding possibilities in impossible matters and transform them as my personal language and inner expression. This experience is what my knowledge of universe is\, which I have absorbed becomes my philosophy and my art. \nWhere there is beauty there is music and where there is music there is rhythm. The rhythm\, synonymous with cultural symbolism emotionally attached to the transcendental memory traversed through the Indian philosophy and Adhyatma; on the other\, the life of my art is what I have meditated with my source of inspiration – the dynamic application of vibrant colors in the miniature art. \nLast updated: Friday\, December 26\, 2025
