He has been awarded PhD in Kaavi Mural Art from Manipal University. His decade long research has led him to visit over 6000temples along the West (Karavali\, Goa & Konkan) Coast of India in pursuit of finding what remained of Kaavi Art. He has been invited as an artist and are source person for various art based subjects\, in well over a hundred workshops and exhibitions. A keen teacher of art since 2007\, contributing through various art classes and teaching at Srinivas School of Architecture helping young minds grow artistically.
