SUMMARY:Appam Fusion Festival - Feb 2018
DESCRIPTION:Appam Fusion Festival\nFrom 30 Jan to 28 Feb 2018\nVenue: Simbly South\, Mangalore\n  \nExperience a swirl of flavours at Simbly South’s Appam Fusion Festival. \n  \nAppam lovers: quick question\, how do you usually enjoy your Appams? Probably with the traditional South Indian stew\, maybe tangy chutneys or some piping hot sambar\, right? \n\nWell\, here’s a game changer for y’all. Simbly South never ceases to impress when it comes to quirky\, innovative and sheer awesomeness with food presentation and this time around; it’s their Appam Fusion Festival that will astound you with the number of ways you can enjoy your Appam. \n\n \n\nTake\, for instance\, the Mahabaleshwar Appam with an irresistible strawberry filling\, alongside a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a generous sprinkling of sugar which is a delight to your senses. And\, sure\, you’ve had that Red velvet cake\, but can you imagine a Red Velvet Appam? The cynics among you can give it a rest though(we admit\, we were too)\, because surprisingly here’s a delectable combo brimming with cream cheese and chocolate wafers\, that is a must-try\, should you want to give in to your sweet tooth. \nAppam Fusion Festival – Feb 2018 – Simbly South\, Mangalore\nFew of our other recommendations include Crab Ghee roast Appam\, because well\, ghee roast! As well as the Peri Peri Paneer Appam and the Caramel Sausage Appam. As for the non-Appam lovers\, you may be stunned by how beautifully well the combination works\, even if you’ve never fancied the former because not only is it a welcome break from the pasta and pizzas; but focusing on more regional food makes it a lot more satiating. \nThe festival is ongoing at Simbly South and will probably wind up on the 28th of February. If you’re in the city of Mangalore\, this is a great one to catch. In case you do miss it-don’t say we didn’t already tell you. \n\n \n \n \n \n Rayalaseema Appam – (Fresh Mushroom and chilli garlic)\n \n \n \n \n \n Italian Appam – (Zucchini\, bell pepper\, black olive and fresh cheese)\n \n \n \n \n \n Green Herbs Prawn Appam – (Prawns in coriander sauce)\n \n \n \n \n \n NH 66 Appam – (Fusion of Mangalore & Kerala spiced appam)\n \n \n \n \n \n Rogan Lamb Appam – (North Indian delicacy lamb and cheese cream)\n \n \n \n \n \n Sichuan to Calicut Chicken Appam – Appam Fusion Festival – Feb 2018 – Simbly South\, Mangalore\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n \n Sandesh Appam – (Bengali delicacy: coconut jaggery and sesame seeds with jaggery caramel and vanilla ice cream)\n \n \n\nAppam Fusion Festival – Feb 2018 – Simbly South\, Mangalore\nFood-Menu – Appam Fusion Festival – Feb 2018 – Simbly South\, Mangalore\n\nContent by Megan D Souza\n\n\n\nLast updated: Friday\, December 26\, 2025
