‘Science and Kannada – importance of scientific writing in Kannada and developing scientific temperament’ a two day workshop was inaugurated at St. Agnes college, mangaluru on Thursday.
The workshop was organised by Kannada sangha in association with the department of journalism and sponsored by karnataka science and technology promotion society, government of karnataka.
The keynote address was delivered by Senior Journalist govind D belgaumkar who spoke of the importance of developing scientific temperamemt and developing taste for research.
Developing scientific temper is a fundamental duty,” stressed senior writer and resource person Abdul Rehman Pasha.
Sr.Jeshwina the principal of St Agnes college presided over the workshop. Students from various colleges of the state were present.
