Ever since its inception in the year 2\,000 the Trust has been treating sick\, injured animals and reaching out to abandoned animals. Over the past few years the Trust has been successful in finding forever homes to the abandoned animals and kittens. \nOne such adoption camp of desi puppies and kittens will be organised on Sunday\, August 25 at School of Social Work\, Roshni Nilaya\, Jeppu\,Mangalore. Over the 25 puppies and 10 kittens will be put up for adoption in this camp which will be held from 10.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m. \nWhile no adoption fee is charged\, ACT collects a nominal charge of INR 200 as registration fee to help cover the basic medical expenses incurred. Those who wish to adopt are required to get their valid Photo ID proof for registration. The festival kick started on Friday the 16th and will go on till 25th of this month. \nWe tried some of the carefully picked dishes from the menu and each dish was matchless. Be it the Talumein soup\, Chicken mountain\, stir fried lotus stem in schezwan sauce\, we also tried the Mapo tofu with minced lamb ; a unique dish made with a combination of 3 Chinese sauces\, the Hakka noodles & burnt garlic rice were exceptionally good \, braised silken tofu with shiitaki mushrooms was also flavorful. The confined yet luscious mocktails & cocktails are a must try. Highly recommend the half moon for pineapple lovers. And don’t leave the place without trying the desserts! Our favorites were the date pancake & chocolate Spring roll. \nThe decor & music add a charm to the ambiance.
