Mother Theresa Rd,
This house was established in the year 1922 and is located in the heart of the city, is a powerhouse of Prayer for Mangalore.
Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration are cloistered contemplatives belonging to the 2nd Order of St. Francis of Assisi, founded with St. Clare of Assisi. About 20,000 Poor Clares are in the service of the Church all over the world. There are 12 Cloistered Monasteries in India.
They are exclusively dedicated to perpetual adoration 24 hours, day and night, praising and thanking Our Lord, presenting the entire humanity before God and interceding on behalf of all who are in sorrow and distress. The whole world is their mission field.
They receive hundreds of requests for prayer and thanksgiving everyday through parlour visits, letters and phone calls. It only boosts our conviction that their Cloistered mission is rewarding and gratifying.
They welcome any one who desires to dedicate to the sacrificial life of adoration, prayer, praise, thanksgiving and intercession.
